This 36" x 48" acrylic painting was done during the holiday season in 2017 when I started my faculty job at the University of Pennsylvania. The gallery quality canvas was coated with paint using pallette knives then finished with a pouring medium. The holidays are a bittersweet time for many people who have difficult jobs, families or spouses. Philadelphia is a vibrant, rich city that taught me so much about both Hannukah and Christmas.
